Final Fantasy V is the story of Bartz and his adventure to protect the crystals from an entity known as ExDeath, who plans to escape his prison and utilise the power of The Void.

- An adventurer who becomes entagled in the fate of the world once he meets Lenna.

Lenna

- The daughter of the King Tycoon, who is missing. Lenna searches for him and meets up with Bartz.

Galuf

- An old man with amnesia, he only knows he has to get to a place called the Wind Shrine.

Faris

- A pirate captain who meets the party when they try sneak aboard the pirate ship.

Krile

- Galuf's granddaughter.
