Final Fantasy I follows the story of four youths who become known as the fabled Warriors of Light. The Warriors of Light carry with them four crystals, each one of them connected to the 4 elements that keep the balance of the world flowing.

The crystals have been tainted by the 4 elements fiends and Chaos, who the Warriors of light quest to defeat and return light to their respective crystals and in turn, the world.

Characters : The Warriors of Light are four unnamed characters that serve as blank templates for you while playing the game. Most later entries focus on fleshed out characters with their own stories and narrative arcs.
